The Master Gardener program, typically offered through universities in the United States and Canada, provides intensive horticultural training to community individuals. Once they complete their training, they then volunteer as Master Gardeners in their local communities. They give lectures, create demonstration gardens, conduct research, and many other projects. For some of the best, regionally specific advice you can get on home gardening, contact your local Extension office.
The Pulaski County, Missouri Master Gardener chapter is a volunteer group of the Pulaski County Extension Center. Local Master Gardeners work within the county to promote and raise public awareness of the University of Missouri Extension as a source of unbiased, research based gardening information.
