About Master Gardeners

The Master Gardener program, typically offered through universities in the United States and Canada, provides intensive horticultural training to community individuals. Once the training has been completed, individuals will then volunteer as Certified Master Gardeners in their local communities. They give lectures, create demonstration gardens, conduct research, and many other projects. For some of the best, regionally specific advice you can get on home gardening, contact your local Extension office.

The Master Gardeners of Pulaski County chapter is a group of individuals that love to get their hands dirty. We meet in Waynesville at the Senior Center to discuss the groups projects, ongoing and new. We work within the county to promote and raise public awareness of the University of Missouri Extension as a source of unbiased, research based gardening information.
